Ben! Our newest addition is Ben, a boxer who we were rehabilitating through Austin Boxer Rescue. He is deaf and is learning hand signs (he knows 25+ already) and is working through his issues with other dogs. Ben loves all people and enjoys chewing his Hurley and meaty bone. He also loves getting a good Boxer Burn going and, as you can see from this picture, doesn't enjoy his playtime being cut short!
Lyca is a 4 year old Rottie who we took in from what was essentially a wild pack. She had human and dog aggression, including extreme small-dog aggression. Lyca now works with us daily to help other dogs overcome their aggression. She is still working through her obsession with small animals but is well on her way. She loves to play tug and has learned how to use her mouth properly to play. Lyca has completed Basic and Intermediate obedience and is looking forward to gaining her Canine Good Citizen certificate.

Jett, 10 yrs old. Chow/husky mix. Jett was obtained through a rescue at 3 months old, he is a very aloof old guy, with a very dominant personality. His favorite snacks are cheetos, popcorn and cheese! He has been through basic and intermediate and started his obedience at 7 yrs old. Proving an old dog can learn new tricks! His nickname is "pops" or "old man". When he came into the "pack" in 2006, Jett had been highly cat and dog aggressive, as well as having territorial aggression and lack of human social skills. He now lives with the pack and a cat peacefully and works to help people and dogs get over their issues!
Tyler,7 yr old Standard Poodle. Tyler was rescued at 6 months old. He loves his tennis ball and will do anything for it! His favorite snack is an ice cube! He has completed basic, intermediate and advanced obedience classes. He also participated in flyball and agility! He loves to run on the treadmill, and keep as active as he can. His nicknames are, "Ty man" and "Foodle poodle". He is one of the original members of the pack and has been helping other dogs overcome their dog-dog aggression for the last 5 yrs. Tyler was one of the most aggressive dogs I had ever worked with, he had severe resource guarding issues, dominance aggression and territorial aggression. He had been returned 3 times for his aggression, and spent most of his first 6 months in a pet store that kept him in a hideously small cage. To date, since his rehabilitation, he has helped hundreds of dogs and their owners as well as children, get over their fear of dogs.
Allie, 9 yr old border collie mix. Allie joined the pack in 2007 and was taken from a local rescue. Allie's favorite thing in life is toys! She will play for hours on end tossing the ball to herself! She has completed basic, intermediate and advanced obedience classes. Allie is one of our best "mommies" in the pack. She helps puppies learn how to play, along with helping adult dogs overcome their dog-dog aggression. Her nickname is "Princess Allie" and "Allie McBeal" and she lives up to her diva status!
Maverick, 2 yr old border collie. Maverick was rescued from TLAC at 6 months old. Her favorite thing in life is working! She LOVES the treadmill, and even after her session is over, will try to jump on with the other pack members as they run. She has completed basic and intermediate obedience classes, knows several tricks, and loves to do agility and herding! We loving call her, "Wild child", "Crazy Mavie" and "Yakkie". She likes to watch TV and listen to Amanda sing. Maverick had absolutely no social skills when she was rescued, and a very fearful aggressive side towards men. She now works daily to help ALL owners, men and women rehabilitate their dogs.
Shelly,4 and a half yr old pit/pointer mix. Shelly loves to play ball and frisbee. Her nicknames are "Mama Shell" and "Shell Bell". Shelly is one of the best maternal dogs in the pack, and is extremely gentle with puppies and any size dog. Her favorite snack is Cheerios, and she will eat them one by one with her front teeth! Shelly joined the pack in April 2008, after staying to be rehabilitated for extreme fear. Shelly came to us afraid of life in general and would army crawl instead of walk. She could not "look" at anyone, and often hid with the slightest movement in the house. Today, she's developed more confidence being around the pack and has started working with us in our social classes.
Peanut, 3 yr old Chihuahua. Peanut was rescued from TLAC's euthanasia list because she was heartworm positive. Peanut loves to cuddle and be loved on! She tries to play with the pack (even though she is the size of their heads). Her favorite food is Mexican and her favorite movie is "Beverly Hills Chihuahua". Her nicknames are "lil P", "Goose" and "Miss P". Lil P had no issues that needed rehabilitating and works with us during social classes to help dogs overcome their small dog prey aggression.
Reece, 3 yr old Yorkshire Terrier. Reece is the only dog in the pack who came directly from a breeder but is a very rough and tumble kind of girl. She is a canine valium-as soon as you put her in your lap you fall asleep! Her favorite toy is a martini glass squeeky and she prefers to play alone. Her nickname is "Reeces pieces". She has completed basic and intermediate obedience and is learning agility. She also knows several tricks. She is a very confident little girl but does not have a "Napoleon" complex. Reece works with us as a demo dog and during our social classes.
Crash, 4 yr old Siberian Husky. Crash came to us in March 2009 through a client who relocated and could not take him. Crash's favorite toy is a tug squeak and he loves ice cubes. He loves to "supervise" your work and loves to play with the pack. True to his breed he is gentle and loving, and always looking to work. Crash suffers from some separation anxiety, and is in the process of being rehabilitated. He has completed Basic and Intermediate and will be trained to pull carts.
Takoda, a 10 month old Siberian Husky. We acquired Takoda through a very nice family who really loved her, but wanted her to do what her breed was meant to do; work. She is the youngest member to our pack, and has already started basic commands. We loving call her "Devil dog" and "Koda". She loves to romp around with the pack and her bestest play buddy is Maverick. In her future, Takoda will join Crash in pulling carts and participate in agility.
Keegan, a 6 month old, German Short-haired Pointer. Keegan came to us because she needs more intense training than the average puppy does. She is currently learning her basic commands, how to play well with dogs and humans, and how to control her bite. Her favorite games are chase, hide&seek and keep away, and she doesn't go a night without her Justice League blanket.
Sonny, a three year old Boxer and number eleven in our pack (we may have to get name tags soon). He came to us from a client who could no longer handle him. He is a typical case of a misunderstood dog. Sonny is getting along wonderfully with all the dogs in our pack, including the unruly puppies. His favorite thing to do is watch "Cat TV" courtesy of the resident cat, Huntress. He is currently learning his basic commands and will be part of our drafting team, as well as helping other dogs get over their boxer prejudice.
Axel is a staffie that came to us for rehabilitation work and to prepare for his Canine Good Citizen. However, after having him for a couple of months we decided we couldn't send him back. He has come leaps and bounds since we first received him. Already he's helped numerous dogs in their quest to overcome aggression issues, as well as owners who are fearful of Staffordshire terriers. He's an ambassador for his breed, helping to change the stigma associated with this breed. His favorite thing to do is lounge in the sun and he's certainly never met a stranger. He will continue to work with us in our socialization classes and private sessions, as well as to learn pulling along with Crash, Sonny and some of the other pack members.
Nirali, Rali as we call her, is a Chihuahua who is about a year old. We found her on our property on New Year's day, presumably from someone dumping her in the yard or surrounding area. She has some deformities especially in her back legs and eyes but she doesn't let that stop her. Her favorite game is chase and she loves to warm in the sun. Rali works in our social classes to help big dogs overcome their small dog issues.
In loving memory of Stormie

Stormie, 6/2001-3/2009
Stormie was our first pack member, she helped hundreds of dogs get over their issues, as well as helping many clients get over their fear of Rottweilers. She was a true gentle giant who loved all beings, from small to large. I will always love her and I am truely thankful for the years of love and devotion she gave me.
